AETOLIA
Aetolia (a-TOH-lia) is a mountainous district in the west central part of Greece that was formed during the 5th century BC. The southern border of the region is the northern coastline for the Gulf of Corinth. The Rio-Antirio bridge is one of the longest multi-span cable-stayed bridges in the world and connects Aetolia to the Peloponnese peninsula.
